Job Summary:
Starlite Media seeks a seasoned revenue leader capable of developing and maintaining high-value partnerships with agencies and brand marketers across the DOOH/OOH landscape. The Starlite Sales Director is expected to drive revenue growth, deliver accurate forecasts, and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets. The Director will excel in direct and programmatic sales, leverage data-driven targeting and measurement, and engage with advertisers across various verticals (e.g., CPG, travel, finance, health & wellness, pharma, QSR, and more). The candidate must be a self-starter, comfortable working independently, and thrive in a collaborative environment. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this position will regularly interface with internal teams and external partners to ensure strategic alignment and seamless execution. This position requires a strong work ethic, self-motivation, superior customer service, the ability to embrace a team environment, and, most importantly, possessing an enthusiastic personality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals, utilizing a consultative sales approach to guide agencies and brand marketers toward effective DOOH/OOH solutions.
- Networks with prospective clients to persuade them to bring their business to the company.
- Identify, develop, and close new business through direct client outreach, strategic prospecting, and leveraging an extensive network of agency and marketing decision-makers.
- Present comprehensive, data-driven proposals with competitive, profitable pricing structures by collaborating with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations) and ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Deliver accurate forecasts, maintain a robust pipeline, and provide consistent revenue updates to management, demonstrating strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Facilitating all aspects of the customer’s account, from creative strategy and campaign execution to post-campaign analysis, ensures client satisfaction and long-term, value-based relationships.
- Keep abreast of evolving programmatic technologies, audience targeting methodologies, and attribution models, providing thought leadership and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Participate in market tours, site visits, and in-person meetings to deepen relationships and highlight Starlite Media’s DOOH/OOH inventory.
- Presents information regarding sales at company meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 5 – 7+ years of overall sales experience, at least 5+ years in DOOH/OOH media sales, and a demonstrated track record of exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong background in direct and programmatic DOOH/OOH solutions, including advanced targeting, measurement, and optimization.
- Proven success in cultivating relationships across multiple verticals and negotiating effectively with agencies and brand marketers.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Winmo, Hubspot or Salesforce, and familiarity with industry tools; adept at delivering persuasive presentations and managing complex sales processes.
- A collaborative, professional style and a self-starter mindset, with the capacity to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
