Utility Associate

Role and Responsibilities

Starlite is looking for a utility associate who can assist the National Head of Operations to manage frequent day to day projects, installs and special maintenance follow up requests.  Ideal candidate will become a quick study of company’s static and digital inventory and will become the “go to” inside contact to handle these issues in the Northeast. The candidate will preferably have the necessary tools and equipment to perform this role and have some available storage space for equipment and materials. This position requires a strong work ethic, superior customer service, ability to embrace a team environment, and demonstrated mechanical ability.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule repairs, builds, and general maintenance activities in a define area.
  • Daily tasks may vary day to day based on what needs attention at the time.
  • Ensures Static / Digital Inventory is maintained. which includes and not limited to general repairs, cleaning, aesthetic work and posting / refreshing inventory.
  • Attention to detail to ensure work is complete an in an exemplary manner and potential hazards or problems are not overlooked.
  • Conduct site surveys / inspections to ensure our product is represented in a professional manner.
  • Conduct site surveys for new builds and installations.
  • Ability to provide a location to receive and store inventory on a short term basis.
  • Be able to provide own transportation, a truck or large SUV is mandatory.

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High School education or GED equivalent
  • Valid Drivers license

Preferred Skills

  • Strong mechanical understanding
  • Genuine interest and passion for high quality work
  • Articulate, Professional, Confident with the ability to communicate with store managers
  • Proactive self-starter with ability to solve problems in the field
  • Prior maintenance or repair experience
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with key people and quickly become an integral part of the team.
  • Ability to use a computer to provide reporting, transmit photos, and communicate with the team.
