Job Summary:
Starlite Media is seeking an ambitious Account Executive to support senior revenue leaders and develop a growing roster of advertiser accounts. Leveraging prior agency or brand-side media planning/buying experience, this role will translate DOOH/OOH insights into actionable sales strategies. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who excels at working independently but also thrives within a team, assisting in campaign planning, execution, and optimization while gradually building a personal book of business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed assigned revenue targets by persuasively communicating strategies that address client needs, drawing upon a thorough understanding of DOOH/OOH media planning and measurement.
- Proactively prospect and develop new relationships with agencies and brands, conducting direct outreach and aligning Starlite Media’s offerings with client marketing goals.
- Collaborate with senior sales leaders and internal cross-functional teams to create comprehensive proposals, ensuring competitive pricing and a clear value proposition.
- To ensure satisfaction and repeat business, facilitate all aspects of the customer’s account management, including creative direction, operational logistics, and post-campaign analyses.
- Conduct outside sales activities, such as market tours and client site visits, to illustrate the quality of DOOH/OOH inventory and drive deeper client engagement.
- Conducts independent research into target customer base and develops leads.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new platforms, audience segmentation techniques, and measurement tools. Integrate these insights into proposal development and client recommendations.
- Participates in regular weekly sales and operations meetings.
- Learns and utilizes Winmo or Seller Crowd sales tracking system to secure client, agency, brand and contact leads for sales teams.
- Communicate and coordinate with Ad Operations and other internal departments to ensure seamless campaign execution and timely delivery of proof of performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in media planning or buying at an agency or brand, preferably with DOOH/OOH exposure.
- Prior contract and or RFP experience in a sales organization
- Prior experience in sales planning or charting software
- Proven ability to cultivate client relationships, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and stay organized under pressure.
- Skilled in applying consultative or “needs-based” selling techniques and negotiating solutions that align with advertiser objectives.
- Strong presentation, communication, and analytical capabilities; able to convey complex media strategies clearly and compellingly.
- Familiarity with MS Office, Hubspot or Salesforce, and social media platforms, with the aptitude to learn and leverage emerging technologies and tools.
- Self-starter with a collaborative approach, adaptable to evolving market conditions and client demands.
